Integrative Nutrition Intensives

These might feel familiar:

  • Bloating or distention after eating

  • Diarrhea or constipation

  • Gas after eating

  • Prolonged sense of fullness after eating

  • Heartburn

  • Indigestion

  • Nausea

While this is common, it shouldn't be considered normal. The health of our gut influences our overall metabolic functioning. So if there's an issue, we should get to the bottom of WHY.

Can you relate?:

  • Rosacea

  • Acne

  • Eczema

  • Rashes

  • Hormonal breakouts

  • Brittle, easily broken, nails

  • Hair thinning

Skin is an inside job. We often think that outside topical things (i.e., dirty phone, fingers touching your face, etc.) are the cause of our skin reactions, but they are really just responses due to different internal root issues.

Is this you?:

  • Hanger

  • Anxiety

  • Chronic headaches

  • Agitation & nervousness

  • Increased energy after eating

  • Dependency on coffee & sugar for energy

  • Episodes of being spacy, jittery, or shaky

  • Brain fog, poor memory & forgetfulness

  • Irritability or lightheadedness when skipping meals

Unstable blood sugar underlies many common metabolic symptoms: fatigue, insomnia, joint pain, anxiety, lack of motivation, brain fog, depression and mood swings. If we want to fix these, we must start with blood sugar.

"Is this the cause or the effect?":

  • Irregular periods

  • Heavy bleeding

  • Painful PMS

  • Irritability

  • Breast tenderness

  • Fibroids

  • Cystic ovaries

  • Feeling cold all the time

  • Melancholy or emotionally exhausted

  • No sex drive

  • Decreased passion for life

Hormonal imbalance is not usually the "root cause" of your issues, instead, your hormones are reacting to other dysfunction. So, we don't want to "fix" the hormones...we want to fix the problem.

"Wait, not everyone feels like this!?":

  • Stressed, overwhelmed, unable to relax

  • Exhausted and burnt out

  • Anxious and irritable

  • Tired and wired: catch a second wind at night

  • Trouble falling asleep or staying asleep

  • Feeling tired in the morning, even after a full night’s sleep

  • Slow starter in the morning

  • Reliant upon coffee, caffeine, or sweets

  • No energy or motivation to exercise

  • Chronic headaches or light headedness

Your energy is made at the cellular level. If these functionings are disrupted - it will impact your ability to handle and cope with emotional stress - regardless of what you are eating.

Are you having trouble figuring out exactly which metabolic pillar would be the most beneficial for you?

If your symptoms feel like they fall under an umbrella of different categories, I can help guide you in the right direction.
